Once there was a powerful Saint Sachcha Giri Nari Baba, whose exact age is not known, although it is said to exceed more than 400 years. During this time when his body became too old he entered the body of a young Brahman who died on the bank of the Yamuna River in Hamirpur. His old body he left lying there. The power he inherited is the power of Krishna. He didn’t have any place to stay, neither Ashram nor hut, but traveled around most of his life. He preferred to stay in Rajasthan or Varanasi. Although he was a very simple Sadhu who only wore old clothing, the Kings of the places he visited kissed his feet. Sachcha Giri Nari Baba saw that all people have a fear of death, don’t believe in God and out of self-interest don’t speak Truth. His aim was to change the world through love and compassion, and to establish the Truth. He worked continuously to help people realize God, making them so clear as to go beyond fear and self-interest. His willpower was so strong that he forced positive change for the world.
One day he saw during his meditation, another very powerful Yogi who was trying to destroy the world. He traced this Saint as Katcha Baba who changes the world by destroying it; the world had become degenerate. He felt that when the old disappears, a new creation would appear. Sachcha Giri Nari Baba went to Katcha Baba to convince him to work together, to transform the world by bringing light and love rather than destruction. After succeeding in many difficult tests, Katcha Baba was convinced of the sincerity of Sachcha Giri Nari Baba and agreed to work with him.
After his death Katcha Baba transmitted his power (which was the power of Ram) to Sachcha Giri Nari Baba. In this way the power of Ram and Krishna came together in one Being.
In 1936 Kulanandaji went to Sachcha Giri Nari Baba to ask him for help to find work. Baba told that if he would stay with him for a certain period he would give him everything. Kulanandaji (who was only 19 years old at the time), agreed. He surrendered to Sachcha Giri Nari Baba’s wish and was enlightened within a few days. He became Baba’s personal caretaker until Sachcha Giri Nari Baba left his body on the 16th of June 1944. All of Sachcha Giri Nari Baba’s disciples went away but Kulanandaji stayed in Varanasi near the Maha Samadhi mourning: “Where has this lovely energy of my beloved Guruji gone to…?” Then he heard a divine voice: “Go to Uttarakhand”. He went and there he lived in a cave for 2 years. He had a vision, which made him roam around for 7 years, experiencing that God always provided all he needed for him. At the end of this period he went to Puri to the Janagath Temple, where he received the mantra “Prabhu Aap Jago” and the message to have an Ashram in Allahabad. In 1953 Saint Sri Sachcha Ashram was established. Kulanandaji Sachcha Baba left his body on the 6th of September 1983.
Sri Hans Raj Maharajji was a government clerk and a family man. He has a wife and three children. Since childhood he had had visions of all the Hindu Gods and Goddesses. A Swami from Saint Sri Sachcha Ashram advised him to see Sachcha Baba, who could help him with the serious stomach problems he was suffering. On the 2nd October 1955 he visited Sachcha Baba. After performing a fire-ceremony he had a vision of Lord Krishna as a baby. Sri Hans Rajji surrendered to Sachcha Baba’s feet and attained enlightenment that same day. Until 1964 he lived a householder’s life. In 1964 when his on was 18 years old he left his family and his job and became a Sadhu. Sachcha Baba sent him all over India to give Satsang. In 1976 according to Sachcha Baba’s wish he built Sachcha Dham Ashram in Rishikesh, with the help of a few disciples. Today Sri Hans Raj Maharajji supports every disciple with the Work/Sadhana he or she chooses to do. In the way he supports us, he performs many miracles to let us experience the Truth. By his grace, the Teachings of the Sachcha lineage are being carried to the entire world by his disciples.
Sri Prem Baba attained enlightenment, through the encounter and the grace of His Guru, Sri Sri Hans Raj Maharajji, and since then is conveying the teachings of the Sachcha Lineage to His disciples and receiving people from all Brazil and several other countries of the world that look for Him to receive His blessings and advise. As a Spiritual Master He works on behalf of the Universe, awakening God in people and establishing social values. He acts by building bridges between worlds, for example, between science and spirituality, between the western and eastern worlds. He leads the Sachcha Mission Ashram – a Center for Universal Enlightenment.
